About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Stake well locations
- Survey section corners
- Establish section corners
- Stake access roads, including slope staking access roads and well location pads
- Stake pipelines and rights-of-way
- Perform topographic surveys and cross-sectioning
- Work in the field most of the time and frequently report to a main office
- Relocate to Vernal, Utah, as required for the role
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. visa sponsorship is unavailable; candidates requiring sponsorship cannot be pursued
- Valid driver's license required, with an MVR that meets the company's requirements
- Pre-employment and random drug testing required
- Junior Crew Chief / Party Chief / Surveyor: minimum of 6–12 months of experience as a Survey Assistant or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Crew Chief / Party Chief / Surveyor: minimum of 2 years' experience with Trimble GPS Surveying Products, boundary staking, staking corners, and staking well locations
- Experience in Cadastral Surveying, Oil & Gas, and Construction Staking
- Able to reliably commute to Vernal, Utah, or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package
