About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Undertake on-demand and pre-booked video interpreting assignments
- Deliver high quality BSL/English interpreting services to all clients
- Report to Head Interpreter and Operations Team
- Maintain CPD
- Abide by NRCPD code of conduct
- Work flexibly within the video interpreting team
- Provide BSL video interpretation for pre-booked and on-demand remote video interpretation sessions
- Work out of hours Monday-Friday, 12:00am-8:00am
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must be UK residents
- Must have permission to work in the UK by the start of employment
- Required to hold or undertake a DBS check
- RSLI BSL Interpreter status
- NRCPD registration
- Enhanced DBS
- Maintain CPD
- Abide by NRCPD code of conduct
- Full 1:1 training will be provided
