Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze business processes and operational workflows across OCIO divisions and field operations to identify opportunities for AI-enabled efficiency, decision-making, automation, and mission outcomes
Identify, document, and prioritize AI use cases through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and operational analysis
Build and maintain a comprehensive AI Use Case Repository
Translate business needs into prioritized AI use cases, requirements, and measurable outcomes for the AI Strategy, 3-Year Roadmap, and AI Team priorities
Develop business cases for AI initiatives, including benefits, resource requirements, timelines, and success metrics
Support AI-PMO operations through business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and change management
Document as-is and to-be process maps, create business cases, and define KPIs
Support change management through impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and adoption planning
Facilitate cross-functional engagement across Cyber, Infrastructure, Mission Delivery, Business Support, and field stakeholders
Facilitate workshops, design thinking sessions, AI ideation sessions, and collaborative problem-solving
Create communications, training content, knowledge-transfer assets, and adoption playbooks
Support AI governance by documenting use-case approval processes, decision criteria, and prioritization frameworks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree + 7 years of experience in business process consulting, business analysis, or organizational change management; equivalencies considered (16 years of experience with no degree, AA + 12 years' experience, BA/BS + 10 years)
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Expertise in business process analysis, process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), and workflow optimization
Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions and use cases
Experience developing and executing change strategies
Experience facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to document complex processes and requirements in clear, actionable formats
Professional certifications (CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, PMP) desired
Experience supporting federal government or DHS transformation initiatives desired
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and business process automation desired
Experience identifying and documenting AI use cases in enterprise or government environments desired
Experience with Agile business analysis techniques and user story development desired
Prior experience in law enforcement, protective services, or national security environments desired
Knowledge of AI ethics, responsible AI principles, and federal AI guidance desired
