About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process and nursing practice standards
  • Manage patient care from admission to discharge according to developmental age
  • Perform patient assessments and reassessments
  • Develop and coordinate individualized care and discharge plans
  • Direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Massachusetts licensure and registration
  • Completion of an accredited school of nursing program
  • BLS certification, unless current ACLS certification is held, plus any unit-specific certifications and competencies
  • Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
  • Compliance with departmental policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Ability to work indoors in a normal patient care environment and perform medium physical work
