About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process and nursing practice standards
- Manage patient care from admission to discharge according to the developmental age of the patient population
- Perform patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure
- Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care, including discharge planning
- Direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting
- Delegate appropriately according to job description and competency level
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- Current BLS certification, unless current ACLS certification is held, plus any unit-specific certifications and competencies
- Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred
- Ability to work a 24-hour part-time night schedule
- Availability for every third holiday and every third weekend, including Saturdays and Sundays
