About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and process client requests involving cash processing, trade execution, new security establishment, and dividend income
Analyze reports and process transactions
Apply income or incoming payments
Initiate outgoing cash payments
Assist clients with questions and issues
Serve as a subject matter expert in operational processes
Cross-train among team responsibilities and provide backup support
Partner with the Corporate Actions Team to execute voluntary and mandatory events and reduce financial exposure
Perform data entry, financial calculations, and clerical duties related to securities and cash transactions
Review and approve transactions
Train associates and review their work at the manager’s direction
Identify system issues or defects and document them for support groups
Assist with testing system upgrades and implementing new systems
Work on special projects at the manager’s direction

Requirements

What you’ll need

College degree
At least two years of financial services experience
Securities processing experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
Problem-solving skills
Ability to perform financial calculations and process securities and cash transactions
Ability to review and approve transactions
Ability to train associates and review their work
Ability to identify and document system issues or defects
Ability to assist with system upgrade testing and new system implementations
Flexibility and adaptability to client needs
