About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide operational support to Corporate Trust and Institutional Custody departments
Evaluate and process requests regarding trading, sweeps, Money Market and Mutual Fund securities
Perform quality control reviews, receipt and disbursement approvals, and daily balancing
Assist with monthly accrual balancing and processing
Assist with new Money Market/Mutual Fund security or portfolio setups
Use Microsoft Excel for ad hoc reporting
Learn and perform monthly revenue sharing reconciliation
Act as a go-to person for escalations and research on complex situations
Cross-train and assist other teams for coverage
Perform moderately complex financial calculations and processing related to securities and cash transactions
Identify system issues or defects and document them for the appropriate support group
Assist with testing system upgrades and implementation of new systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

College degree
At least two years of financial services experience
Securities processing experience
OR any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background
Microsoft Excel proficiency
Ability to perform financial calculations and process securities and cash transactions
Ability to identify and document system issues or defects
Ability to assist with testing system upgrades and implementing new systems
