About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with the development and continuous improvement of ISMSs in accordance with ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz
Support the preparation, execution, and follow-up of audits
Conduct initial risk and protection-needs analyses under the guidance of experienced colleagues
Create and maintain policies, processes, and security documentation
Support gap analyses and maturity assessments
Assist in advising business departments on information security, compliance, and business continuity management
Support the implementation and operation of security solutions, such as SIEM, IAM, firewalls, and endpoint security

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in computer science, IT security, business informatics, or a comparable field
Initial practical experience in IT security, ISMS, compliance, or IT network architectures, for example through internships or working student roles
Basic knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz
Interest in audits and regulatory requirements
Analytical thinking and a structured approach to work
Willingness to learn and motivation to continue developing in the field of information security
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
German language skills at a minimum C1 level
