About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive continuous improvement across the Analytical Lab landscape
- Manage projects with significant cost-saving impact and accountability for results
- Create and standardize KPIs to measure performance
- Create optimal standards based on best practices
- Follow up on site cost metadata and subject-matter-relevant costs
- Lead improvement projects delivering tangible business improvements
- Identify improvement opportunities with relevant site management
- Benchmark best practices and plan implementation across the Analytical Lab organization
- Manage the Analytical Lab continuous improvement community and subject-matter expertise areas with the Analytical Technology organization
- Roll out subject-matter KPIs, facilitate target setting, and follow up on performance
- Benchmark cost metadata and drivers, monitor site cost performance, and support cost targets, budgeting, and financial modeling
- Act as gatekeeper of the process, policy, and framework
- Manage the Analytical Lab Operational Excellence roadmap and maturity assessments
- Support area Operational Excellence roadmaps
- Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified Black Belt
- Ability to manage continuous improvement projects
- Ability to act as gatekeeper of the OE process, framework, and tools within the Analytical Lab environment
- Subject matter expertise in benchmarking best practices, efficiency, performance, and optimization
- Ability to assure standardization across the Analytical Lab landscape
- Ability to work in Nysa or Hoboken
- Willingness and ability to travel to other Business Units in different countries
- Business travel required from time to time
