About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape and lead the Infra-red business growth program to support key European customer accelerated ramp-up, aiming to double production capacity in France by the end of 2027
- Steer and monitor 10 program workstreams across IR functions to ensure project milestone achievement
- Build and challenge the IR growth financial business plan, focusing on stepped CAPEX deployment
- Design the mid- to long-term cost-down roadmap for overall IR operations
- Steer the automation roadmap and support operational excellence deployment
- Ensure timely capacity expansion through greenfield or brownfield projects
- Manage program costs
- Shape and develop product and process industrialization capabilities within the IR organization
- Coordinate and partner with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, site managers, R&D, Global Supply, Finance, and Procurement teams
- Report directly to the Business Line Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8–10 years of experience in engineering and complex, rigorous/disciplined program management
- Experience in an international manufacturing environment, ideally footprint expansion
- Experience in product and process industrialization
- Focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical mindset and proactive approach
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of thermal optics or precision manufacturing is an advantage
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel internationally in Europe and North America
- Ideally located in Acigné, France, or alternatively willing to travel one week per month to the UIRG plant in France
