About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Umicore’s global Treasury operating platform
- Lead global cash and liquidity management, banking infrastructure, and Treasury-market execution
- Lead operational foreign exchange and interest-rate risk management, including exposures, hedging execution, monitoring, and escalation
- Oversee Treasury execution for metal-risk management activities, including hedging and leasing
- Oversee intercompany funding and related Treasury flows
- Define and maintain global Treasury operating standards, controls, and governance
- Own the global Treasury operating model and allocation of activities across Group, regional, and local teams
- Drive continuous improvement, simplification, standardisation, process redesign, automation, technology, and transformation initiatives
- Ensure Treasury infrastructure and capabilities support evolving business, financing, and risk-management requirements
- Lead and develop the Global Treasury Operations & Markets organisation
- Partner with senior Treasury, Finance, business, banking, and market-counterparty stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of relevant Treasury experience, ideally in a complex international corporate environment
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Strong practical Treasury expertise
- Hands-on experience across cash and liquidity management, banking, FX and interest-rate risk management, financial markets, and Treasury operations
- Particularly strong exposure to financial markets and risk management
- Experience working across countries and regions in an international organisation
- Proven experience leading teams and senior stakeholders across geographical and functional boundaries
- Ability to create alignment, develop talent, and operate effectively in a global matrix
- Fluent English, written and spoken
