Key responsibilities & impact

Further develop our backend centered around DataContentNaicer
Develop and maintain backend services with Python, such as REST and GraphQL APIs
Integrate and process data sources in formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML
Build and optimize data pipelines and data models, including data cleansing and feature parameter selection
Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure high-performance, stable, and well-documented APIs
Write tests and conduct code reviews
Contribute to an agile team
Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot backend components
Perform frontend quality assurance in React

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
Very strong Python skills, for example with Flask, FastAPI, or Django
Good foundational knowledge of React
Experience with API design (REST or GraphQL)
Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML
Basic knowledge of working with databases (relational or NoSQL)
Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for contributing to a growth-oriented product team
Good written and spoken German and English
Experience with data-processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy (nice to have)
Experience with automation, data pipelines, and ETL processes (nice to have)
Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent platforms (nice to have)
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing frameworks (nice to have)
Interest in text automation, semantic data, ontologies, and related topics (nice to have)
Registered residence and place of work in Germany
