About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with business teams to understand needs and translate them into data, reporting and analytical solutions
- Retrieve, clean, structure and validate data from multiple sources
- Analyse complex datasets using analytical and statistical techniques
- Identify trends, patterns, risks and growth opportunities
- Turn analysis into actionable insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, visualisations and reports
- Support databases, data collection processes and reporting solutions
- Monitor business performance and key indicators
- Present insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Work with management and cross-functional teams, including Agile squads, to prioritise business and information needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting or another role involving interpretation of complex datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with databases, data extraction, data preparation and visualisation tools
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into accurate, relevant and user-friendly analytical solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive mindset and confidence to take initiative
- Fluency in English and either Dutch or French
- Willingness to travel between Belgium and the Netherlands according to business needs
- Up to approximately 5 years of relevant experience, including junior Data Analyst, Business Intelligence or similar analytical experience
- Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and/or predictive analytics
- Experience in a B2B environment, preferably foodservice, hospitality, consumer goods or related industry
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, data and digital innovation
