About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive sustainable business growth through operator, chain, and trade partner engagement
  • Deliver territory business targets, including turnover, reach and penetration, digital engagement, fully profiled operators, demos, and sampling
  • Execute customer business plans, win and retain funnels, contact matrices, and multi-touchpoint online and face-to-face contact strategies
  • Convert business insights into solution selling and prepare recommendations tailored to customer menus, kitchen operations, and consumers
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with selected trade partners, including trade term agreements, sell-out activities, DSRs, trade-team engagement, and KPIs
  • Align trade customers for secondary sales data partnerships
  • Collaborate with Food Solutions Trade and eCommerce teams to implement promotions and drive sell-out
  • Submit and settle distributor trade claims on time
  • Engage with automated warm and targeted leads through CRM and drive territory lead conversion
  • Achieve penetration strike-rate targets using account and SKU prioritization
  • Drive digital buying behavior through eCommerce platforms
  • Drive social media engagement and attendance at UFS webinars
  • Continuously enrich operator data to enable personalized content
  • Implement omnichannel online and offline contact strategies for the territory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 years of experience in territory sales, business development, or account management
  • Experience working with operators, chain accounts, distributors, or trade partners
  • Experience managing sales targets, customer plans, lead conversion, and digital/eCommerce engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Substantial and relevant industry experience may also be considered
  • Foodservice B2B Sales experience; retail experience may also be considered
  • CPG/FMCG industry experience
  • Must be based in Boston or willing and able to relocate to Boston
  • Employment subject to verification of pre-screening tests, which may include drug screening, background check, credit check, and DMV check
