About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive secondary sales by making Unilever products available and visible to consumers in the assigned territory
  • Manage distributors and distributor sales forces
  • Ensure implementation of trade activities and merchandising plans across relevant channels
  • Expand store coverage and identify new store openings
  • Ensure effective store coverage and execution of store-specific merchandising tasks
  • Maximize perfect stores under coverage
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled in full and on time
  • Improve suggested sell-in quantities, assortments, and store service frequency
  • Manage KD and customer complaints
  • Achieve all KPIs within assigned territories and relevant channels
  • Optimize Trade Term Spend (TTS)
  • Build distribution networks by leveraging brands, launches, promotions, and shelf-availability initiatives
  • Drive numeric and weighted distribution, on-shelf availability, and share of shelf
  • Drive channel programs and propose territory-specific channel activities
  • Execute perfect-store programs and coach/accompany DSRs
  • Manage distributor appointment, stock taking, system reconciliation, JBP execution, DSR training, controls, performance assessment, customer service, and LeverEdge hygiene
  • Ensure regular store coverage, on-time stock delivery, new-store additions, trade-claims settlement, and product quality
  • Monitor and report competitive intelligence, including launches, price changes, promotions, distribution strategies, channel programs, sampling, and wholesale trends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years of experience in Sales
  • Strong analytical and digital skills
  • Excellent knowledge about territory management
  • Strong rapport and relationship across Route-to-Market value chain
  • Strong Business & Finance Acumen
  • Great insights about the business in territory, including key challenges and opportunities
  • High integrity in doing business
  • Problem-solving ability and approachable leadership
