About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement the corporate Asset Security strategy and physical security standards across assigned sites
- Collaborate with central Asset Security, ISMS, and Corporate Security teams to introduce and develop security policies, processes, and measures
- Advise and support local security representatives and operational organizations on physical security
- Coordinate security risk assessments and monitor agreed risk mitigation measures
- Support audits, assurance reviews, regulatory requirements, and compliance activities
- Manage security-related projects and protective measures involving perimeter protection, access control, video surveillance, and security services
- Support management of security incidents and crisis situations, including implementing lessons learned
- Foster a sustainable security culture through guidance, training, and security awareness initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering, Security Management, Industrial Engineering, Facility Management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in physical security, plant security, infrastructure security, or industrial asset protection
- Growth mindset with openness to new technologies and willingness to continuously develop relevant skills and capabilities
- Experience working within critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environments
- Experience managing security-related projects
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and modern physical security solutions
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
