About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Capture and structure business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Support topics from requirements clarification through specification and refinement to implementation, testing, and acceptance
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, functional concepts, and process descriptions
  • Analyze defects and incidents, assess their business impact, and support the implementation of sustainable solutions
  • Provide functional support to the agile team, clarify open questions, and make dependencies transparent
  • Plan, perform, or coordinate functional testing and document test results
  • Analyze and continuously improve processes, products, and system workflows
  • Share knowledge and take joint responsibility for successful outcomes
  • In the motor insurance focus area, work on motor insurance products, VKB data, interchangeable license plates, and bonus-malus systems
  • In the commercial insurance focus area, further develop quotation, contract, and policy administration processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in business analysis, functional testing, or a comparable role
  • Experience in the insurance sector or the willingness to quickly become familiar with insurance-specific topics
  • Understanding of business processes, requirements, and their implementation in IT solutions
  • Experience with agile ways of working, ideally Scrum or SAFe
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, combined with a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Hands-on mentality and the ability to present complex matters in an easy-to-understand way
  • Openness to innovative technologies
  • Willingness to use artificial intelligence responsibly in day-to-day work
  • Commitment to continuously developing your skills
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Tosca or comparable testing tools is an advantage
  • Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, and test evidence is an advantage
  • Understanding of data flows, interfaces, and system landscapes is an advantage
