About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Store Manager
- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Maintain brand and operational standards, including visual and cleanliness standards
- Manage customer needs and exceed expectations using the UNIQLO service standard, Fundamental Principles, and six standard phrases
- Provide in-depth product information and product and brand knowledge to customers
- Assist customers in fitting rooms and maintain fitting room standards
- Act as cashier when required and follow cashier protocol
- Process shipments and ensure merchandise is represented on the floor in full size runs
- Assist management in identifying and resolving store issues
- Follow company policies and procedures and notify management of infractions
- Assist with special projects assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED or 6 months retail or related experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to calculate figure and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull or move objects of at least 25 pounds
- Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom by repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
- Average 16 or more hours per week based on business needs strongly preferred
- Full Weekend Availability (Saturday - Sunday); religious exemptions will be considered
- Monday - Wednesday availability strongly preferred
- Must be available to work restricted holiday dates: Black Friday Period (Friday, November 20th - Sunday, November 22nd & Friday November 27th) and Holiday period (Friday, December 18th - Saturday, December 26th), not including 11/26 and 12/25
