About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Exceed customer expectations by listening to customer needs, finding suitable products, providing in-depth product information, and closing sales
Meet and exceed sales goals
Maintain brand and operational standards, including visual and cleanliness standards
Manage customer needs using the UNIQLO service standard and Fundamental Principles
Follow the six standard phrases
Maintain fitting room standards and assist when needed
Act as cashier by following cashier protocol
Process shipments and ensure merchandise is represented on the floor in full size runs
Assist management in identifying and resolving store issues
Provide product and brand knowledge to customers
Follow company policies and procedures and notify management of infractions
Assist with special projects assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED or 6 months retail or related experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to read computer terminals
Ability to push, pull or move objects of at least 25 pounds
Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom by repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
Average 20 or more hours per week based on business seasonality strongly preferred
Full weekend availability (Saturday–Sunday); religious exemptions will be considered
Able to work morning shifts starting at 7 am strongly preferred
Must be available during the specified Black Friday and holiday restricted dates
