About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for banking applications
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Test and validate Temenos T24 core banking modules, emphasizing mortgage and lending products where applicable
Verify end-to-end banking workflows, business processes, and system integrations across multiple applications
Conduct API testing and backend data validation
Validate BPMN/workflow-based processes and ensure seamless workflow execution
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business requirements into test scenarios
Identify, log, track, and verify software defects through resolution using defect management tools
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives through continuous testing activities
Work with development teams to improve product quality and reduce production defects
Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics, and provide project stakeholder updates
Support production releases and perform post-deployment validation when required
Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and banking regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing across functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
Banking products and process knowledge preferred
Experience in the banking or financial services industry
Hands-on exposure to the Temenos T24 core banking platform; mortgage/lending preferred
Hands-on testing experience with mortgage/lending products and SZHP-type government housing or subsidy schemes highly desirable
Experience testing BPMN/workflow management systems and system integrations in a core-banking landscape
Demonstrated experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
Experience with API testing and data validation
