About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on cloud engineering and infrastructure, data engineering and ETL, machine learning, and data science projects.
- Work with customers to understand their challenges and design and implement solutions.
- Evaluate, compare, and present results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to implementing and engineering systems ranging from proof-of-concepts to larger end-to-end data systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Apply software best practices in continuous integration and delivery, versioning, and data evolution.
- Work in multifunctional agile teams to experiment, iterate, and deliver new product objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSc level in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient software engineer with computer science fundamentals.
- Experience applying software engineering, machine learning, and statistical methods to real-world business problems.
- Programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Pragmatic attitude and willingness to take an active part in engineering aspects of projects.
- Good presentation and communication skills, including explaining complex analytical concepts to people from other fields.
- Teamwork orientation.
- Strong client-facing skills and comfort interacting with business and technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and the team, mainly in Europe, up to 20% of the time.
- Fluent French or/and German.
