About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, deploy and maintain data solutions using Palantir Foundry.
Develop and troubleshoot data pipelines and processing systems using Foundry and relevant open-source or proprietary technologies.
Build and maintain Foundry components such as Ontologies, pipelines, and user-facing applications.
Apply engineering practices for testing, data quality, performance, security and maintainability.
Work with client stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify problems and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product owners and client teams in an agile environment.
Contribute to technical discovery and solution scoping for prospective and ongoing engagements.
Help establish Unit8’s engineering and delivery approach in the UAE, share knowledge with colleagues and support the growth of the local team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated experience with AIP, Workshop, Code repository, and Pipeline Builder.
Solid understanding of security concepts within Foundry, including restricted views and markings.
Knowledge of Ontology and Data connection.
Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
Knowledge of data modeling and basic concepts of data science (classification, clustering, regression) (nice-to-have).
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the Foundry platform.
Strong client-facing skills, including interaction with business and technical clients and giving presentations.
Strong problem-solving mindset.
Willingness to travel to meet with clients and the team.
