About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the financial performance and operational effectiveness of physician revenue cycle functions
- Extract, validate, and analyze data from Epic (Resolute Professional Billing), EMR, and financial systems
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports using Epic and other reporting tools
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data
- Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts for physician services
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and automate processes using Epic tools and reporting features
- Work closely with Physician Financial Services leadership, practice managers, and finance teams
- Report directly to the Manager of Physician Financial Services and the Director of Physician Financial Services and Acute Post Care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Two (2) years of relevant experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis
- Experience with Epic reporting tools, including Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, SlicerDicer, and Clarity/Caboodle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
