Key responsibilities & impact

Provide excellent hematology and medical oncology care across Binghamton General Hospital and Wilson Medical Center
Diagnose and treat all adult disease states
Refer patients out when necessary
Provide care within the Broome Oncology practice across two clinics and three hospitals
Manage a case load of 22 to 30 patients per day
Use chemotherapy/biotherapy infusion centers with onsite labs
Provide hospitalist coverage one week at a time, without clinic responsibilities during that period
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, with nurse practitioners often taking first call on weekends

What you’ll need

Board Certified/Board Eligible physician(s) in both Hematology and Medical Oncology
Must have completed an ACGME accredited residency
Excellent clinical, communication and time management skills
Strong commitment to providing excellent team oriented care
