About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure that the evaluation of Vascular Lab procedures, equipment and staff is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable
- Prioritize activities that directly affect customer service
- Serve UHSH employees, Medical Staff, patients and regulatory agencies
- Work on an as-needed, agreed-upon basis, with hours assigned by the manager
- Float across multiple UHS facilities as applicable to the position
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree in Applied Science in vascular technology or similar modality
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, hemodynamics as well as color flow doppler principles
- Registered or Registry eligible by the ARDMS or CCI as a registered vascular technologist (RVT)
- Staff who are Registry eligible are required to successfully pass the Registry exam achieving “Active Registry Status” within one year from the date of hire
- Preferred: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
