About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate program-level features and priorities into actionable, well-defined stories for a software engineering team
  • Own and maintain the team-level backlog aligned with program priorities and strategic objectives
  • Write and refine epics and user stories with acceptance criteria and definition of done
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads, Solution Architects, Product Managers, end users, and engineering teams
  • Represent customer and business needs in team decisions and Agile ceremonies
  • Lead sprint planning, delivery, and roadmap execution
  • Coordinate dependencies and manage stakeholder priorities
  • Accept completed work against acceptance criteria and escalate scope or priority conflicts
  • Produce reporting for assigned areas
  • Develop and maintain RAID logs and drive measurable delivery outcomes
  • Facilitate onboarding, enablement, and upskilling for new team members
  • Lead cross-team coordination for migration, modernization, and operational support initiatives, including GitLab migrations, cloud operations readiness, and build pipeline reliability
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to technical roadmap execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
  • Strong backlog management and story-writing discipline
  • Technical fluency to engage with Tech Leads and Solution Architects about feasibility and tradeoffs
  • Clear written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in a Scrum/SAFe team-level Product Owner capacity
  • Ability to lead team delivery, coordinate dependencies, and manage stakeholder priorities
  • Ability to leverage burn-up/down and planned-versus-unplanned work metrics
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, SCM, and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience with GitLab administration, migration strategies, and CI/CD pipeline configuration
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies and containerized development environments, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of artifact management and software composition analysis, including JFrog Artifactory and Xray
  • Understanding of secure software supply chain practices, vulnerability scanning, and CI/CD policy enforcement
