Design and build new product features, and refactor and optimize existing ones
Build and maintain resilient backend services processing events at very large scale
Take ownership of a key part of a large system and build domain knowledge with team support
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Work with product managers and related teams to deliver results reaching users
Use AI-assisted tools across coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
Explore AI approaches that improve the reliability and efficiency of distributed systems
Apply engineering principles and contribute practices to the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on backend development experience in Golang or Java
Experience developing and maintaining distributed web services at scale
Experience with event-driven systems, such as Kafka or other message queues
Experience producing and analyzing web service event audit trails
Effective use of AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high standards for code quality, security and reliability
Effective written/verbal communication, with the habit of asking questions early and working closely with teammates
Experience in ad tech or fintech, or with Ruby on Rails
Experience with SQL and data platforms such as BigQuery and BigTable
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and with observability tools such as Grafana or OpenTelemetry
Sufficient knowledge of English for professional verbal and written exchanges
