About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own positioning and messaging for assigned product areas
  • Translate technical capabilities into workflow value and create narratives for Sales, Community and Content
  • Lead go-to-market for launches, betas and feature rollouts, including tiering, audience targeting, channel planning, enablement and launch-day execution
  • Define product audiences, from indie creators to technical directors
  • Create credible messaging for developers in partnership with Community and DevRel
  • Track competitive and market intelligence and turn market shifts into positioning and sales material
  • Convert forum threads, interviews and community feedback into actionable customer insight
  • Equip Sales, Success and Support with pitch decks, battlecards and objection handling
  • Partner with Content Marketing on launch assets and developer-facing material
  • Drive joint go-to-market and co-marketing with third-party tools or platform partners
  • Define launch success metrics with Product and Analytics and report results afterward
  • Work on a defined product area or set of launches on a contract basis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7-9 years in product marketing or go-to-market roles
  • Clear track record of owning a product line or a major launch end to end
  • Background in games, or a deep grasp of modern development pipelines and creator workflows (strongly preferred)
  • Experience marketing to technical audiences such as developers, engineers or technical artists
  • Exceptional writing ability
  • Comfort working independently with limited context and without formal authority
  • High comfort with ambiguity
  • Strong data literacy
  • Strong with AI tools such as Claude Code, Gemini or similar
  • Professional verbal and written English proficiency
  • Platform and ecosystem go-to-market experience, such as developer platforms, game engines, SDKs or plugin ecosystems (nice to have)
  • Direct experience with AI or ML products (nice to have)
  • Hands-on experience shipping something in Unity or a comparable real-time creation tool (nice to have)
  • Partner co-marketing experience (nice to have)
  • Category creation experience (nice to have)
  • Prior contract or consulting experience inside a large matrixed organisation (nice to have)
