About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take technical leadership in complex customer projects
- Analyze customer requirements and IT architectures
- Develop architectures and concepts centered on UCS and Nubus for Kubernetes
- Lead workshops and customer meetings, and advise customers on technical decisions
- Implement installations, configurations, and integrations, such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or OX
- Support implementation and ensure that solutions meet the agreed requirements
- Assess feasibility, effort, and risks and incorporate them into proposals
- Create viable solution outlines for presales activities
- Feed project insights into product management and development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in technically complex customer projects, ideally as a Consultant, Technical Lead, Systems Engineer, or Solution Architect
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, with the ability to identify customer requirements beyond the scope of the original request
- Confident administration of Linux servers
- Solid knowledge of networking, DNS, Active Directory, LDAP, containerization with Docker, APIs, and single sign-on
- Conceptual understanding of identity and access management, user lifecycle management, authentication, and authorization, such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and Kerberos
- Ability to structure requirements clearly and present technical concepts in an understandable way to different target audiences
- Willingness to take responsibility and work independently
- Strong consulting skills and technical expertise
- Fluent German and very good English
- Kubernetes expertise is helpful but not required
- Experience with Keycloak, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or ADFS is desirable
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI, is desirable
- Experience with effort estimation and proposal processes is desirable
- Experience in the public sector or education sector is desirable
- Motivation to develop expertise in IAM, UCS, and Nubus for Kubernetes
