About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all aspects of production planning, new product integration, and sales demand forecasting
  • Organize, manage, and schedule production needs to meet customer delivery dates
  • Collect and maintain sales forecasts from the sales/customer service team
  • Analyze data to forecast product and material demands
  • Organize and prioritize customer orders for production
  • Analyze material availability and coordinate purchasing needs
  • Coordinate with customer service regarding potential production delays
  • Use ERP to check material availability, enter production jobs, monitor scheduled jobs, and analyze finished-goods stock levels
  • Coordinate with Quality regarding raw material, liquid, and finished-good status
  • Coordinate with Warehouse regarding material movement
  • Generate priority lists for department stakeholders
  • Coordinate with production mechanics to estimate repair completion times
  • Use Excel for scheduling data entry and analysis
  • Use Outlook for customer-order and scheduling communications
  • Perform other assigned tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Background in production scheduling
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Experience working alone with little supervision and a high degree of judgment and self-management
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of basic business applications such as MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Strong email etiquette
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong ERP experience
  • Team-oriented approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to manage change and implement systems as needed
