About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules across juice production, blending, packaging, drying, milling, and dry ingredient packaging operations
  • Generate all Production Batch Orders (PBOs) in the ERP system one day ahead of scheduled production
  • Validate completed PBOs for accuracy to avoid month-end financial delays
  • Lead weekly production planning meetings and communicate priorities to operational stakeholders
  • Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and support long-term production planning
  • Partner with Production and Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and ingredients
  • Align production schedules with Sales and Customer Service expectations
  • Coordinate with Quality and Food Safety regarding inventory status, product holds, and material releases
  • Communicate with Warehouse regarding inventory movement, storage capacity, and shipment priorities
  • Coordinate production plans between Grandview and Prosser facilities
  • Balance customer demand, production capacity, labor availability, maintenance schedules, and raw material availability
  • Prioritize production orders to meet customer delivery requirements while minimizing changeovers and downtime
  • Monitor schedule attainment and adjust plans for changing production requirements
  • Identify processing equipment and seasonal capacity constraints with Production Managers and Supervisors
  • Coordinate planned downtime and preventative maintenance with Maintenance
  • Collaborate with Sales to use dry and frozen inventories effectively and minimize aging and long-term storage
  • Supervise the Production Planning team and oversee production planning processes, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage frozen inventory levels, product transfers, material tempering, and availability for scheduled production runs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • At least three years of experience in inventory management and production planning
  • Three or more years of production accounting/control experience
  • Strong ERP proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to support data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage a team
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Prior juice manufacturing experience preferred
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or accounting, or equivalent, preferred
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing
