About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and develop Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, SOAP/REST, and related integration technologies
  • Support and maintain existing HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Benefits integrations, including error resolution and release testing
  • Use database technologies, including SQL, to support integration development, data analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures and coordinate resolution with technical teams, functional stakeholders, and vendors
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for integrations, data exchanges, support procedures, and related configurations
  • Apply information security practices to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the University's information
  • Communicate with management, team members, and stakeholders regarding key issues, changes, and integration support needs
  • Research emerging technologies and Workday integration capabilities relevant to assigned responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a computing discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience as an integration developer
  • Experience with Workday Integrations, including Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, and Core Connectors
  • Experience developing API-based integrations and solutions
  • Broad-based knowledge of software engineering, integration architecture, and the software development life cycle
  • Experience with database technologies, including SQL
  • Understanding of database querying and extracting information from relational data sources
  • Understanding of information security principles and secure data exchange practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Workday Integrations Pro certification preferred
