About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join a team of 14 Maternal-Fetal Medicine colleagues providing patient-centered clinical care
  • Instruct medical students, residents, fellows, and other learners
  • Participate in MFM quality/safety metrics and scholarly contributions
  • Develop or participate in clinical and/or basic science research studies
  • Provide clinical care averaging 3.5 clinical days per week
  • Provide inpatient service coverage approximately 5–6 weeks per year
  • Practice at the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Center on the University of Minnesota Medical Center campus
  • Provide care through three outreach sites in the greater Twin Cities
  • Use the integrated Ultrasound Unit and reporting system
  • Deliver evidence-based care to patients experiencing high-risk pregnancies as part of a collaborative academic team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship-training program
  • ABOG board eligible/certified
  • Licensed or able to acquire a medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges
  • Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to visa requirements
  • Three or more years' experience in an academic practice preferred
  • Experience with CVS and/or fetal procedures highly desirable
