About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Document and optimize Privacy Operations processes, including individual requests, process flows, email templates, and response timelines
  • Manage Privacy Operations platforms and tooling implementing access, deletion, opt-out, and consent
  • Review, triage, and respond to internal and external inquiries received via email and tickets
  • Maintain and update inventory of data partners and contracts involving personal data
  • Liaise between Legal and Technical teams and translate legal requirements into technical classifications
  • Ensure timely handling and processing of individual privacy requests in accordance with laws and internal processes
  • Partner with business and technical owners to implement privacy-law compliance changes
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Research the global privacy landscape and understand applicable requirements
  • Research automation and streamlining options for compliance tasks
  • Maintain and enhance playbooks and contract templates
  • Liaise between Legal, Procurement, external vendors, and business partners regarding data provisions in contracts
  • Assist with data inventory, discovery, and mapping

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in data privacy, security risk management, or compliance
  • IAPP certification such CIPM or CIPT is preferred
  • Strong project management skills and project planning methodologies
  • Experience in managing digital platforms
  • Experience with Privacy Operations platforms, such as OneTrust, TrustArc, ServiceNow, Ethyca, DataGrail, Osano, or Ketch
  • General knowledge of compliance processes
  • Fluent in English/Spanish
