About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead CRO and experimentation across a portfolio of UNRVLD clients
- Act as the day-to-day CRO lead and trusted optimisation partner
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders and delivery teams
- Lead client sessions, roadmap discussions and performance readouts
- Present findings, including unsuccessful or inconclusive results
- Manage decisions, dependencies and risks
- Identify and prioritise opportunities using customer, behavioural and commercial evidence
- Develop and evolve CRO and experimentation roadmaps
- Define hypotheses, metrics and decision frameworks for experiments
- Determine whether opportunities require experimentation, research, immediate improvement, personalisation or wider strategic initiatives
- Coordinate designers, developers, analysts and other specialists
- Create briefs and ensure work is reviewed, approved, launched and measured
- Maintain priorities, actions and dependencies and hold clients and internal teams accountable
- Ensure experiments are designed, tracked, analysed and translated into decisions
- Use AI for research, analysis, evidence gathering and reporting
- Validate AI-assisted findings and turn analysis into commercially useful recommendations and action
- Typically manage three to four client accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading CRO, experimentation or experience optimisation programmes
- Strong strategic and commercial judgement, with the ability to turn evidence into prioritised action
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple accounts or workstreams effectively
- Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills, including confidence challenging senior stakeholders
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across design, development, analytics and QA
- Hands-on experience with a mainstream experimentation platform, ideally Optimizely Web Experimentation (OWE) or VWO
- Strong working knowledge of GA4 and confidence identifying potential tracking issues
- Good statistical understanding and ability to design, evaluate and explain experiments responsibly
- Commercial awareness beyond conversion rate, including margin, returns, lead quality, support demand and traffic mix
- Confidence communicating difficult, unsuccessful or inconclusive findings clearly and constructively
- Experience across ecommerce and lead-generation or service journeys
- Experience with personalisation, controlled rollouts, server-side experimentation or feature flagging
- Accessibility, performance and SEO awareness
- Experience working with client teams who deliver the changes
- Experience improving CRO or experimentation processes and programmes
- Experience using AI to support research, analysis or delivery
