About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take end-to-end responsibility for activities impacting merchant invoices and payouts
Maintain prices and conditions in relevant systems
Review contracts
Support product-related billing adjustments
Serve as a direct point of contact for merchants regarding invoice and payout questions by email and telephone
Investigate internal technical issues through structured analysis and root-cause identification
Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders and external merchants until resolution
Create and maintain process and troubleshooting documentation for the internal knowledge base
Perform operational controls and monitor billing processes and relevant KPIs
Identify risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement
Act as the merchant's voice within the company and represent the company clearly and professionally

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of billing processes and fundamental accounting principles
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and prepare financial reports
Understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency in billing and finance-related software and systems
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Confidence in using AI tools to improve efficiency and support day-to-day tasks
Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
