About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development
- Contribute to the codebase, troubleshoot complex issues, and support the team with technical expertise when needed
- Own delivery, quality, and reliability for one or more product areas
- Balance technical and business priorities
- Partner with product and other stakeholders to shape roadmaps, plan capacity, and ensure predictable delivery
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and processes
- Remove blockers for the team
- Contribute to technical and architectural direction while empowering engineers to own implementation details
- Participate in the interview process and hiring activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar
- Substantial software engineering experience
- Prior people-management or tech-lead experience
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop engineers and build inclusive, motivated teams
- Strong technical grounding in Java, Kotlin, and/or JavaScript and large-scale systems
- Familiarity with Agentic Software Engineering and AI-driven development lifecycles
- Deep understanding of Agile delivery, CI/CD, and quality practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across teams and functions
- Experience with cloud-based, containerized environments such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Valid work permit required; visa sponsorship and relocation support are not provided
