About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for field operations on assigned data center construction projects
  • Manage and mentor Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel
  • Develop and implement construction execution plans aligned with project schedules and milestones
  • Coordinate field operations with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, Design Teams, and Trade Partners
  • Lead daily, weekly, and milestone planning meetings
  • Drive schedule performance by identifying critical path activities, mitigating delays, and implementing recovery plans
  • Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials across project phases
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, productivity, quality, and contractual compliance
  • Promote compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and client-specific safety requirements
  • Conduct site walks to monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve field issues
  • Ensure work meets specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and owner expectations
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities with project management
  • Review construction drawings, BIM coordination models, specifications, RFIs, and submittals
  • Coordinate long-lead materials and equipment with project teams
  • Oversee commissioning readiness, punch list completion, turnover, and project closeout
  • Maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
  • Prepare and present project updates to executive leadership and ownership teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial or industrial construction experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or General Superintendent
  • Extensive experience delivering mission-critical, data center, industrial, semiconductor, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil construction systems
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple field teams on projects exceeding $100 million preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software
  • Expert knowledge of commercial construction means and methods
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and logistics planning
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze project risks and implement proactive solutions
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and with exceptional quality
  • OSHA 10 queried in the application
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites
  • Availability for flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and emergency callouts
