About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent Upgrade Inc. Auto Finance Division and promote indirect lending programs
- Develop, maintain, and grow partnerships with dealership partners
- Stay current on local market conditions and industry trends
- Work with internal partners to find customer-focused solutions
- Build relationships with key decision makers to drive growth and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain new and existing dealer relationships
- Advise dealership owners, GMs, and F&I managers
- Conduct regular in-person dealership visits and maintain a weekly drive schedule
- Identify, onboard, activate, and re-engage dealer partners
- Execute onboarding, product, process, and value-added product training
- Achieve monthly funding and application volume goals
- Increase contracts per active dealer and territory production
- Grow Tier 3–5 volume while maintaining quality and drive penetration targets
- Partner with underwriting and credit teams to structure deals
- Educate dealers on program guidelines, stips, and deal packaging
- Coach dealers on submitting clean, fundable deals
- Monitor dealer portfolio performance, delinquency, charge-offs, and profitability
- Manage dealer mix according to risk appetite and profitability goals
- Ensure compliance with credit policies and documentation standards
- Provide market insights and best practices
- Track activity in CRM such as Salesforce
- Analyze territory performance and adjust strategy based on data
- Participate in team calls, sales meetings, and performance reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in indirect auto finance, auto sales, or related field
- Strong understanding of credit tiers, loan structuring, and dealership operations
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and territory planning skills
- Ability to travel locally; significant field time required
- Residency in the San Francisco Bay Area
- English is required for all positions
