About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide on-site support to customers and serve as a point of contact for IT managers, local IT teams, and end users.
- Receive, qualify, and process requests, incidents, and changes quickly and accurately.
- Support users and IT teams with questions and issues relating to workstations, applications, and IT infrastructure.
- Analyze incidents, identify solutions, and coordinate support from Support and Systems Engineers for more complex issues.
- Manage the local IT environment and ensure reliable operations.
- Build trust and promote customer satisfaction through personal customer service.
- Plan your workday independently and set priorities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (EFZ), or equivalent professional experience in an IT environment as a career changer.
- Experience in 1st- and 2nd-level support, ideally as a Supporter, Support Engineer, or Operations Engineer—preferably at an IT service provider.
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft environment, particularly Windows, Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365, and common standard software.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Citrix.
- Good knowledge of networking, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
- Category B driver's license.
- Enjoyment of direct customer contact and the ability to maintain an overview when handling multiple concurrent issues.
- Strong service orientation, resilience, and flexibility.
- Independent working style, initiative, and willingness to take responsibility.
