About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the finance function across the Central & Eastern Europe sub-region while maintaining full financial ownership and statutory accountability for Poland
  • Act as senior finance leader for the CEE sub-region and strategic business partner to regional and country leadership teams
  • Own and monitor Revenue, Gross Margin, EBITDA, SG&A, Working Capital and Free Cash Flow performance
  • Support market expansion, portfolio optimization, pricing decisions, investment evaluations and business transformation projects
  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual business performance reviews
  • Lead annual business planning, budgeting and forecasting across the sub-region
  • Develop financial models, scenario analyses, management reporting and actionable recommendations
  • Drive cash generation, working capital improvements, receivables collections, inventory management and credit management
  • Maintain responsibility for Poland finance, accounting, controlling, financial close, general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, inventory and statutory reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies, IFRS, local accounting regulations, tax, regulatory and corporate governance requirements
  • Lead internal and external audits and maintain internal control frameworks
  • Oversee corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, statutory reports and tax submissions
  • Lead and develop finance resources across the sub-region and Poland
  • Drive finance process standardization, automation, simplification, transformation and reporting improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration
  • 10-15 years of progressive finance experience within multinational organizations
  • Proven experience in regional or multi-country finance leadership roles
  • Strong background in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Partnering, Controllership and Governance
  • Experience managing statutory compliance, taxation and audit processes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior business stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • Experience within Agriculture, Crop Protection, Chemicals, Manufacturing or related industries is advantageous
