About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the group consolidation and reporting process
Prepare consolidated financial statements and monthly, interim and annual reports
Assess and identify solutions for IFRS-related ad-hoc requests
Guide Financial Control teams on accounting and reporting topics
Interpret and analyze IFRS, Finnish GAAP and other regulations
Contribute to financial policies, processes and the group accounting manual
Follow up on compliance concerning internal controls
Lead the development of consolidation and reporting processes
Contribute to strategic projects
Act as a key user in the group’s consolidation system
Report to the Director, Group Accounting and Reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least a master’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance or economics
4+ years of relevant work experience in a similar position with responsibilities in group consolidation and IFRS, or proven experience in other financial accounting areas such as auditing
Solid knowledge and practical experience of IFRS and Finnish GAAP
Ability to manage projects and develop processes independently
Proactive mindset and analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Fluent in Finnish and English
Experience with SAP and consolidation systems is considered an advantage
Ability to work in Helsinki or Tampere, Finland
