About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own Ascent’s roadmap end to end across the Software Factory and Enterprise Track
  • Prioritize and sequence shared infrastructure and program-specific investments
  • Drive the roadmap to close the Enterprise Track’s maturity gap across connected, Upside-native, marketplace, gets smarter, automate, and build capabilities
  • Build the feedback loop connecting instrumentation, reporting, AI spend, skill usage, and business value
  • Partner with Ascent engineering teams as a product owner, owning roadmap, specifications, and prioritization while teams own technical execution and design
  • Write specifications and requirements that engineering teams can execute independently
  • Track and report Ascent’s maturity across core capabilities
  • Represent Ascent to stakeholders outside RISE and explain its capabilities and roadmap to non-technical audiences
  • Stay current and hands-on with AI coding and agent tooling

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-8 years leading platform-level or 0-to-1 initiatives from ambiguity to a working roadmap
  • Deep, hands-on personal experience building with AI coding agents and AI development tooling
  • Comfort building working, code-based prototypes using AI coding agents
  • Ability to write specs and drive prioritization across a technical program without direct authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • A “first-hire” mindset
  • Experience specifically in AI/developer-tools product management, internal platforms, developer experience tooling, or AI-enablement products is a strong plus
  • Experience partnering across teams at different levels of technical and organizational maturity is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with adoption/enablement motions, including rollout, communications, and training, is a strong plus
  • Background in a scaling tech company where the role’s function was still being defined is a strong plus
