About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review, and manage standard contracts, including NDAs and commercial agreements with clients and suppliers
- Provide legal input for requests for proposals
- Manage corporate governance for Upstream group companies worldwide
- Draft Board of Directors and General Assembly resolutions
- Manage annual filings and local compliance matters
- Provide legal support on personal data protection and privacy matters
- Review data processing agreements
- Support compliance with applicable data protection legislation
- Assist with compliance projects of varying scope using independent judgment and decision-making
- Partner with Finance, Account Management, Business Planning, Procurement, HR, and other teams
- Provide clear, actionable legal guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Top-tier academic background in law
- Postgraduate qualifications are required
- 2–4 years of experience, preferably in-house or in a law firm, practicing corporate or commercial law
- Strong command of English, written and verbal
- Ability to draft contracts in English
- French is a plus
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and administrative skills
- Knowledge of intellectual property law is a bonus
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Global mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
