About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the future of artifact and container-based deployment strategies
- Evolve and support the immutable deployment platform
- Develop applications and tools in Python and Golang
- Contribute to the design of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
- Design and implement on-premise and cloud infrastructure solutions using VMware, AWS, and Azure
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability
- Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and Terraform
- Troubleshoot system performance, network connectivity, and security issues
- Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, and security hardening
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools
- Enable developers to build, bake, and deploy images locally, on Kubernetes, and to the cloud
- Work with engineers to support platforms built on Java, Python, Go, PHP, and other languages
- Monitor cloud environment performance, availability, and security
- Develop tools to automate deployments and unify platform metrics, reporting, and monitoring
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Systems Infrastructure, or related engineering domains
- Strong programming experience in Python and Golang, including reading and writing code
- Linux system administration experience
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container-optimized OS environments, and cloud virtualization platforms
- Experience designing and building tools and infrastructure for cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Deep knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, GitLab, Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki
- Hands-on operational expertise assisting cross-functional teams, maximizing system availability, and performing deep-dive troubleshooting and incident remediation
- Practical exposure to VMware vCenter, cluster management, and virtualized platform infrastructure
- Hands-on experience overseeing bare-metal fleets, enterprise storage setups, and SAN networking equipment
- Solid background with relational datastores such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL solutions including Redis, Elasticsearch, Couchbase, and Cassandra
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
