About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Design Team with administrative duties and tasks related to creation, development, and execution of own-brand product
  • Maintain an active role in weekly CFT Meetings, take notes, and manage follow-up communication
  • Support the seasonal development calendar with design, buying, technical design, and PD/production
  • Organize design tools and propose processes to help meet design deadlines
  • Manage assigned design development projects, including development status and trim/artwork package tracking
  • Create style numbers and tech packs for all styles
  • Assist with BOM updates throughout the product lifecycle
  • Partner with CFTs daily to track style development and ensure execution meets design specifications
  • Prepare development packages and related follow-up communications
  • Review incoming garments with Designer and CFT partners for accuracy and brand-standard alignment
  • Assist with sample preparation for monthly sketch and sample review meetings
  • Handle daily package pickups from the B543 sourcing department
  • Perform special tasks as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong organizational skills and passion for a fast-paced environment
  • Proactiveness and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft platforms
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to reprioritize as needs shift
  • Entry-level technical knowledge of apparel construction
  • Entry-level knowledge of design processes
  • Ability to clearly communicate
  • Design tools knowledge such as PLM, VibeIQ, Figma, and Generative AI Assistants (Gemini, Claude) is nice to have
