Research trends and use AI platforms such as Midjourney, Prome, and Gemini AI to execute original designs supporting seasonal line plans
Translate design ideas into technical sketches and clear tech packs for tech design and market vendors
Support monthly retail and seasonal wholesale presentations through sewing, draping, mocking, and postproduction CAD work
Research industry trends in silhouettes and fabric innovations
Collaborate with cross-functional partners and market vendors on raw-material sourcing
Maintain meeting sheets and line sheets
Manage daily communication regarding sourcing and development status and product timelines
Select trim colors and artwork colorways and update BOMs
Create color CADs for Buyers when needed
Ensure sourcing and trim components are finalized before milestone meetings
Track product development and manage sample intake and handoffs
Build and maintain spec sheets and Bills of Materials for private-label and market developments
Execute design packs with fabric placement charts, trim color cards, embroidery/embellishment layouts, and detailed tech packs
Oversee trim, wash, artwork approvals, and TOP samples
Attend fittings and process detailed fit notes
Build tech packs and spec sheets for market seamless developments and communicate fit changes to vendors
Maintain an organized design workspace and archive of bought samples
Report to the Senior Designer

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design and 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a fashion apparel brand preferred
Expertise in soft wovens and/or cut-and-sew knits required
Experience in tubular (seamless) knitting is a plus but not required
Technical knowledge of garment construction, fit, and knit and woven fabrications
Proficiency in draping, mocking, and sewing
Strong hand and computer sketching/CAD skills using Photoshop and Procreate
Experience with generative AI tools such as Midjourney, PromeAI, and Gemini AI is a plus
Highly organized self-starter able to manage multiple project deadlines and meet deliverables
Excellent communication skills and agility in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, collaborative approach and upbeat, positive attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google platforms, including Excel, PowerPoint, Slides, and Sheets
Elevated taste level with a keen eye for print, color, trend, and detail
Ability to work in-office 5 days a week
