About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Buying and Planning teams on day-to-day reporting, analytics, and system needs
- Work with large datasets while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Support recurring and ad hoc reporting and analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools such as Looker and BigQuery, and planning systems such as o9
- Own assigned recurring reports, data audits, and data scrubs
- Investigate discrepancies and escalate issues as needed
- Support system and reporting quality assurance by testing outputs, documenting issues, submitting and tracking tickets, and validating fixes
- Maintain and update documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for planning and reporting tools
- Develop foundational knowledge of Buying and Planning processes and decision-support KPIs
- Identify opportunities to improve day-to-day workflows
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Background in the retail industry or a similar field
- Strong analytics and ad hoc reporting experience, ideally supporting operational or buying/planning teams
- Proficiency in Excel
- Exposure to BI or data visualization tools
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Initiative and interest in developing technical skills
- Curiosity, proactivity, and eagerness to learn new systems and troubleshoot issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Genuine interest in retail and subscription-based business models
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across teams, ask thoughtful questions, and incorporate feedback
