About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support daily operational functions within the buying area through follow-up with vendors and cross-functional partners
  • Enter and revise purchase orders for both selling channels
  • Ensure timely merchandise delivery through communication and follow-up with vendors, cross-functional partners, distribution center, and buying team
  • Act as liaison between vendors and buyers
  • Update discounts on purchase orders for late deliveries, close orders, and process RTVs for defective or poor-quality merchandise
  • Set up new vendors and assist with compliance questions
  • Handle vendor requests and purchase-order maintenance
  • Set up and maintain SKUs in IP, MTS, and Sterling via B2c, including pricing, costing, loads, descriptions, attributes, shipping restrictions, and upcharges
  • Enter price changes and ticket requests
  • Manage backorders and customer service inquiries
  • Collaborate with Buying, Planning, Allocation, and Ecommerce teams
  • Partner with Merchandising and Web Producers to ensure timely product activations
  • Monitor and audit the website for changes based on inventory, sales, newness, and trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Some math required
