About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide planning support to the wholesale sales team
- Help drive top-line growth and develop and execute financial plans for maximum profitability
- Provide sales with analytics to pitch strategies, solve problems, and pursue opportunities
- Be account-facing during market appointments and discuss past, present, and future financial data
- Create hindsight reporting for each delivery by account with findings and suggested actions
- Manage location selling by entering weekly, MTD, and STD sales and stock data and identifying opportunities/issues
- Manage market share reporting and regional opportunities
- Create and maintain class selling reports
- Manage internal and account profitability
- Create preseason sales, margin, and inventory plans for key accounts
- Manage OTB for key accounts
- Analyze key accounts for opportunities
- Support the sales team and account partners
- Support monthly forecasting submissions
- Develop ad-hoc analytical reports and tools
- Provide inventory recommendations to sales and account partners
- Recap weekly selling by classification, style, and color, highlighting best sellers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of planning experience, preferably in wholesale
- Must be a quick learner that is flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
- Strong forecasting and analytical skills
- Must have strong Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well on a team
- Creative problem solver/“outside the box” thinker
- Strong communication skills
- Must be good with systems such as: Skypad, Blue Cherry, Power Point
